Drawing on the world’s shamanic, wisdom traditions, many of our seminars work with myth and ceremony. While creating new opportunities for growth and healing, this approach teaches you how to shift personal and world perceptions. These experiences, in turn, help you to reconnect with the earth, and sense the sacredness of life. Each seminar promises to be thought provoking and is designed to encourage renewed awareness of our surrounding environment.

Creating Sacred Space

This seminar began as a calling to teach people the true meaning of Sacred Space, and how to work with the Seven Sacred Directions in a heart-centered manner. Through ceremony and ritual we will discover the many dimensions of this shamanic fundamental cosmology.
Medicine Wheel Teachings I
Tuition: $95 4 hours
Expand your awareness of Sacred Space through the Medicine Wheel and the Law of Reciprocity. You will learn the lunar and solar properties of the wheel, and how to communicate with the stone people. Through ceremony we will journey and discover the dimensions of the wheel and how to use it as a tool of prayer in our times of crisis.

Medicine Wheel Teachings II

Like the astrological chart, the cosmology of the Medicine Wheel is based upon the encircled, equal armed cross. Through ceremony, lecture, meditation and play, we will discover the hidden attributes of this ancient and shamanic sacred symbol and the significance of the Four Cardinal Directions in earth astrology.
Connecting With Trees

During this seminar, you will be initiated into a rich heritage of ancient planetary tree myth. We will trace these ageless wisdoms from past to present and learn the true significance of modern Holiday traditions. You will learn to greet trees with honor and respect. Together we will discover and work with their subtle energies.
Awakening to the Spirit of Life
Tuition: $120 7 hours
This seminar nurtures an understanding of our present day cultural dilemmas and why we are disassociated from nature. By exploring Ancient Shamanic Wisdom Teachings and planetary myths, we will discover new ways to reconnect with the Earth and to honor the interrelatedness of all things. Through direct experience, we will expand our ordinary senses, and in doing so, deepen our perceptions of nature. In closing, we will heighten our awareness with ceremony and ritual, and awaken ourselves to the Spirit of Life.
Myth, Culture and the Perception of Time
Tuition: $120 7 hours
In this seminar we will discover the forgotten purpose of oral traditions and the sacredness of breath. Taoist oral practices and Runic postures will guide us to awaken to the mystery and magic of vowels. By exploring the concepts of time and space, we will learn how the structure of western languages separates us from the natural world.
A Woman’s Journey: Healing Our Life Cycles
Tuition: $120 7 hours
This seminar serves as a guide for all women wanting to honor their transformative journey. Through myth and ceremony we will discover the secret of Women’s Mysteries and connect to ancient feminine archetypes. By studying the astrological cycles of our 40’s and 50’s, we will glean a clearer understanding of who we are and how to embrace change in our lives.
My experience with Barbara Lynn is based on having participated in a study group that she anchored. This group met monthly for about a year and a half. The topic was esoteric knowledge, ranging from Vedic to Native American to Celtic. I found Barbara Lynn to be a veritable fountain of information, which I’m sure anyone studying with her would appreciate. She clearly can enhance the understanding of students from novice to expert levels.
